From the early stages of planning, we knew that we were looking for an exclusive venue to perform the reception of this sea view summer wedding and at the same time offer three days of unparalleled hospitality to all the guests that travelled all the way to attend. Domes White Coast Milos, a high-end resort that epitomizes the unique features of the island, was the perfect place to host our couple’s three-day wedding celebrations. Mazi Event team has elegantly transformed the venue into a tailor-made high-end space that reflected both refinement and the elements that define the island’s landscape. With our expertise, we seamlessly blended the timeless tones of blues, whites and beiges and touches of gold, creating a color palette that mirrored the serenity and purity of the surroundings.

The religious ceremony was held in the iconic Orthodox church of Aghios Nikolaos in Apollonia, in June 2023, facing the endless blue. Paul and Karrina exchanged their vows in front of 46 of their closest family and friends. After the heartfelt wedding ceremony, it was time for the lavish reception, starting with cocktail hour right before sunset, amidst the panoramic views of the Mediterranean at the dreamy Domes White Coast Milos. The guests were welcomed to the venue and enjoyed their cocktails and amuse -bouche selections, signed by the culinary chef of the resort, at the lounge area. There they had the chance to watch the sunset and listen to the live music and to a duet of cello and violin. For the first dance stage, the dessert station and the cake cutting, we had crafted tailor-made furniture reminiscent of the island’s rock caves. A neon sign with a beautiful asymmetric arch with flowers dominated the dance floor. At the dinner area, six aligned tables, parallel to the swimming pool, were facing the Sarakiniko beach and the sea. Modern chandeliers and candles lit up the place. This elegantly refined and chic dining scape featured handcrafted place cards and favors, clear and white tableware with gold accents, linen marbled tablecloths, blue napkins, lots of candles, as well as white menus sealed with the couple’s monograms. At the dessert station the guests enjoyed local sweets and wedding bonbons, that offered a taste of Greek tradition, to honor the groom’s Greek descent. The wedding reception was followed by the party. The guests gathered on the dance floor while the DJ kept up the mood with modern and all time classic hits, as well as some traditional Greek dance songs in the right moment, to give a subtle Greek touch. The guests mingled, danced and celebrated the love and happiness of the newlyweds.

One of our favorite moments of the wedding day was the couple driving a 1955 Mercedes Benz 190 SL, on the barren beauty of the landscape, thus creating a classy, cinematic effect. The journey to forever love started right there, above the white cliffs of Milos.
