A luxury micro wedding in Chania with love and emotions!

From the first moment we met Kait we clearly knew she would opt for soft hues, blush, nudes, ivories and gold. Olive green touches would also be included, since the private villa just outside Chania that would host their wedding, a great luxury wedding venue in the area, was situated in the middle of olive groves.
Kait’s preparations began in the Old Port of Chania. By her side was, naturally, her wonderful mother and her baby son, as she never parts with him. We arranged a first look photo shooting for the couple at the Old Port, a place they really adore. The iconic lighthouse, the city’s trademark, and the Yali Mosque, a real gem of the city, provided the ideal backdrop. With the help of our precious partners, Les Anagnou, we captured the couple relaxing and enjoying the whole experience in this cinematic setting. A highly recommended photo session especially when we plan a luxury micro wedding.
The wedding ceremony followed on the ground floor of the villa. We had designed a two-piece asymmetrical flower arch with an uninhibited view to the Cretan Sea. It was a really magical setting, since we were surrounded by Crete’s mountains and the color palette diversified due to the weather’s unpredictable changes. The ghost chairs helped us stay in contact with nature and highlighted the airy and clean style.
Kait and Robert exchanged vows and words of love and afterwards, with a glass of champagne, they expressed their gratefulness to their guests and wished them love and happiness.
The wedding reception and the party took place on the upper tier of the villa. We will never forget Kait’s enthusiasm when she saw the dinner area, the art de la table, the calligraphy and the monastery table decorated with candles, hand opened garden roses, traditional Cretan pastries and, of course, wedding favors and bonbons.
All details had been curated so that the guests would sense the feeling of caring and love. The wedding gifts were accordingly selected: rakomelo. A uniquely Cretan mix of raki (a traditional anise flavored alcoholic drink) and honey.
The wedding dinner that followed was an authentic culinary journey into the world of Cretan cuisine. A gourmet, high-end dinner experience. The wedding party afterwards involved lots of dancing and a cheerful atmosphere.
It was a night to remember. A night that had it all. Thrill, beauty, emotion and a whole lot of love.
